shea butter - obtained from the Shea (Karite) tree, otherwise known as the butter tree. Owing to its high contents of cinnamic acid, this substance acts as a natural UV block. It is known to act as an antioxidant and to efficiently neutralize free radicals. It also rejuvenates and protects the epidermis.
